APA Style

Grammar Bootcamp
Access the Grammar Boot Camp grammar ppt's and calendar that we are covering these first two weeks of school. Print them out, BUT when you print choose to print go down and change what you are printing. Choose to print slides and add 4-6 slides per page. It saves paper. Then choose OK to print.
Research Database
AP Seminar students should use this database for all research, not the EBSCOhost through the TOHS library. CollegeBoard's EBSCOhost link is currently not working. Go to the College Board Digital Portfolio to access at the bottom of the Overview section.
NoveList
Use your 14 digit City Library card barcode number to get into this database. Once in, you can find similar books to the ones you like or you can search databases based on Genre.
Science Direct

The City of Thousand Oaks library has the databases that Dr. Malhotra takes her students to CSUCI to access. This IS the best database you can use, so look here first.
The City of Thousand Oaks library provides free access to thousands of databases. You should look here before going to Google Scholar. This is an excellent resource for Census Data, Local Data, Social Science, etc.
Click on Catalog to search the library and see if the book you want is available for checkout. You can also scroll down and find Novelist, MagilonLiterature Plus and Literature Resource Center.
